Altered Canvas Pouch ...

Good afternoon. I have a NEW Challenge to share with you featuring Rubbernecker Stamps. This fortnight our Challenge #27 is "Anything but a Card"

I wasn't sure what I would do for this challenge until I happened upon some Cream/Off White Imagin8 Canvas Pouches at Michaels a couple of weeks ago. I decided to try my hand at making the Canvas Pouch my own.

I put Ken Oliver Color Burts Brights Pack (Ultramarine Blue) into a Mini Mister that I picked up at the Rubbernecker Stamps Booth, shook it up, and sprayed both sides of the Canvas Pouch. Note: I didn't saturate the pouch entirely with the Blue Color but I could have as it has a liner inside. I then hung the pouch up to dry.

Once the Canvas Pouch was dry, I pulled out the Butterflies are Free Stamp Set and used Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink to stamp one of the butterflies, and the sentiment on one set. I then colored the butterflies with Marvey Fabric Markers that I've had in my craft room for some time now.

Here is a closer look of the sentiment ...

Now for the back side of the pouch ...

The dotted lines behind the butterflies were applied with the same Fabric Markers used to color in the butterflies.

Making the Canvas Pouch was a lot of FUN!

Hop on over for to the Rubbernecker Blog for all of the details about the Challenge, and then join in the FUN for a chance to WIN an amazing prize!

Until next time ... Enjoy!
